| Lori Blagg won the 2001 Carat award at the Arkansas Jewelers Association convention in Hot Springs August 18. The Carat award (Creative Achievement Recognizing Arkansas Talent) is presented for jewelry design in four categories, designed by cost. Lori is a Graduate Gemologist Appraiser and is the manager at Faye's Diamond Mine. She won the award with a 14kt white gold pendant/enhancer made with gray cultured pearls and diamonds. The pendant is pictured below. |
